If anyone still thinks "Linux will never make the big time", this is it. Microsoft now considers Linux a sufficiently serious threat for president Steve Balmer to put it on his official "enemies list" - how much more "big time" can you get? Linux is the second fastest growing operating system in American corporations (after Windows NT). Microsoft hasn't yet figured out how to attack Linux, and most of their tried and true techniques will be hard to deploy against a product with no owner, no price, no headquarters, and no marketing plan.
