Killer Bug in Windows 2000![]() Home
|
A defect causes a Windows 2000 server domain controller to stop authenticating
users if more than 51 IP addresses have been entered. Since the administration
tools also stop working, it isn't an easy problem to fix.
Strongly affected by this bug will be ISPs (who should be running BSD or Linux anyway), point-of-sale systems and small to mid-sized businesses. Further details at Byte. |
