U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour declared the wording of Microsoft's temporary worker contract "outrageously arrogant". The contract requires temporary employees to sign away their rights to any future court-ordered pay or benefit adjustments regardless of Microsoft's guilt in the matter. Microsoft has lost several "abuse of temps" cases and more are on the way. Reported in LA Times, 15 JAN 1999.
